Science in the Summer

The dates of the camp this year are June 3-7, 2019, 9am-3:30pm.  Registration will open January 17, 2019.

Come join us for a week of hands on experiments, crafts, and good old Girl Scout fun with songs, games, and outdoor cooking skills. We will examine a new scientific principle each day with lots of fun activities to use all our senses to explore what it is really about. Activities will be geared for all age levels so each one can have the most fun while exploring. Camp day is 9 a.m to 3:30 p.m. in Westminster at Squires Park.

Our camp is open to incoming 1-5 graders.  In addition to fun and creative science exploration, Girl Scouts will participate in camp cooking skills, camp songs, group games, and crafts.   Themes, activities, and crafts will be all new for the new camp year. The cost for campers is $195.00.

Girls entering 6-12 grades can assume a leadership role as a PA (Program Aide) or Program Aide Intern (PAI).

Girls can request to be placed with friends, although not all requests can be accommodated.  Typically, girls are grouped according to grade/age in order to provide age specific content.   Camp is open to girls who are not currently in a troop, but they must be registered with Girl Scouts of Colorado prior to the start of camp.
